The mountain race "The climb of the Roche des Chiens" is organized by CIS Anould in partnership with ES Thaon Athlétisme.

La Montée de la Roche des Chiens is a semi-autonomous mountain race open to licensees and non-licensees of all nationalities and genders from the junior category (born in 2003 and before).

Registrations:

Opening of registrations from Saturday May 15 on http://www.cis-anould.fr/, on http://esthaon.athle.com and on courvosges.com (secure payment by credit card free of charge).

Race limited to 500 bibs

Price: €12 (commitment fee via the site paid for by CIS Anould) including €1 donated to the disabled sports association of ES Thaon Athlétisme and €1 to the health sport section of CIS Anould.

Closing date for registration: Friday July 23 at 11:59 p.m. within the limit of 500 bibs available.

By registering, each runner personally makes the following commitments:

- I declare that I have really read these rules and the ethics of the race and the COVID 19 charter

- I understand and agree to the conditions of participation set out in these rules

- I agree to respect the rules

- I declare that I have inquired about the medical contraindications that could concern me and, consequently, discharge the organization from any medical problem that may arise during the event due to negligence on my part.

Attention, to obtain your bib, you must provide either a license or a medical certificate of no contraindication to running in competition, to the organization when collecting the bib.

Medical certificate, license:

Are accepted, for the 15km220 timed mountain race on Sunday July 25, 2021:

- The presentation of a competition athlete license, a corporate athlete license, a running athlete license issued by the FFA or a “pass I like to run” issued by the FFA and completed by the doctor and valid. Please note that other licenses issued by the FFA (health, supervision and discovery are not accepted).

- or a sports license valid on the date of the event on which must appear by any means, the non-contraindication to the practice of sport in competition, athletics in competition or running in competition and issued by one of the following federations: - the federation of defense clubs (FCD)

-the French Federation of Adapted Sports (FFSA)

-the French Handisport Federation (FFH)

-the national police sports federation (FSPN)

-the ASPTT sports federation

-the sports and cultural federation of France (FSCF)

- the sports and gymnastics federation of work (FSGT)

-the French union of secular works of physical education (UFOLEP)

- or a photocopy or the original of the medical certificate of absence of non-contraindication to the practice of sport in competition or athletics in competition or running in competition dating from less than one year ago year from the date of the competition.

No other document can be accepted to attest to the possession of the medical certificate.

In any case the medical certificate (or its photocopy) must be provided or presented for the license to the organization at the time of the withdrawal of the license. Failing this, no bib can be issued.

Categories allowed to participate:

- juniors born in 2002 and 2003

- hopefuls born in 1999, 2000 and 2001

- seniors born between 1987 and 1998

- masters born in 1986 and before

Canicrosses are not accepted in the race.

Entry fee:

Any commitment is personal, firm and final and cannot be reimbursed for any reason whatsoever except:

- accident and illness justified by a medical accident of unfitness / death

- professional constraints

- public transport strike

Withdrawal of bibs:

The collection of bibs will take place at the Loury village hall – rue des Acacias – 88650 ANOULD from 8:00 am to 9:30 am on Sunday July 25th.

The bibs will be given on presentation of the license or by providing the medical certificate of no contraindication or its photocopy.

Clothing deposits:

Clothing transport will be set up from the departure area to the arrival area.

Journey :

Semi-autonomous mountain race.

Departure from Anould on a tarmacked section then communal forest of Anould.

The start will be on rue des Acacias in Anould near the firefighters' rescue centre.

The arrival of the race will be at the Roche des Chiens.

The return of the runners will be done either by private vehicles parked at Haut des Frêts or by the shuttle made available by the organization parked at Haut des Frêts.

The course is 15km220 with 641m of positive elevation and 124m of negative elevation.

Departure will be either en masse or in waves depending on the health protocols in force.

Supplies:

- mid-course supplies (water, dried fruit, etc.)

- supplies on arrival (water, fruit, etc.)

Only runners wearing a visible and duly checked bib have access to the supplies. Depending on health protocols, supplies may change.

Any runner seen throwing their waste on the course will be disqualified.

Garbage cans will be placed in large numbers at each aid station and must be used.

Individual assistance is authorized only 20m before and after the aid stations. It is prohibited outside these areas, as well as accompaniment in the race.

Markup:

The markup will be done with fluorescent tape in height, markings on the ground. Flaggers will be present at strategic locations and at changes of direction.

Regular marking will be carried out between the flagman posts.

Traffic :

Runners must respect the rural and highway code as pedestrians on the route taking parts of municipal roads or crossing them.

Recommended material:

Mobile phone with pre-registered emergency number (06 07 46 99 14)

Water reserve of 0.5 liters minimum

A waterproof windproof jacket – whistle

Need to be independent between supplies both in terms of food and clothing.

Equipment :

The equipment required must comply with the specific administrative and technical rules issued by the FFA.

Sticks are allowed and must be kept from the start to the end of the race.

Give up:

In case of abandonment, the competitor must notify and return his bib:

- to the person in charge of the refueling station

- to the nearby signalman

- to the finish timekeepers

Anyone who abandons will no longer be considered a participant in the race and will therefore no longer be under the responsibility of the organizer.

Results, awards:

The podiums of the race will be at the level of the arrival area as and when arrivals.

The 1st men and women in the race will win a weekend in a guest room in Fraize for 2 people. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in the men's and women's race will receive a packed basket.

The 1st of each category (juniors, hopes, seniors, and masters per 5-year period) men and women will receive a prize.

Rewards are not cumulative.

All participants will be awarded a packet of sweets and a jar of honey.

Insurance :

- Civil liability: the organizer takes out civil liability insurance for the duration of the event. It guarantees the pecuniary consequences of its liability, that of its employees and of the participants.

- Personal accident: each competitor must be in possession of personal insurance. Participation will be under the full responsibility of the runners with waiver of any recourse against the organizers whatever the damage suffered or caused. Competitors expressly waive the right to assert any rights against the organisers.

Jury:

An official jury will be appointed. Its decision-making power is without appeal. The president of the jury (race director) will make the final decision following consultation.

Image rights:

Each participant expressly authorizes the organizers of the climb of the Roche des Chiens, as well as their rights holders such as partners and media to use the fixed or audiovisual images on which he could appear during the event, including promotional documents and /or advertisers worldwide and for the longest duration provided for by law, regulations, treaties in force, as well as any extensions that may be made to this duration.

Data Protection Act:

In accordance with the data-processing law and freedom of January 6, 1978, each participant has a right of access and rectification of the personal data concerning him.

Conditions of participation :

Participation in the climb of the dog rock will be under the full responsibility of the runners. Competitors expressly waive the right to assert any rights against the organisers. They undertake not to take any action against the organizers and for any incident that may result from their participation in this event.

Any commitment is firm and final, and implies full acceptance of the rules.

Health prevention actions against doping:

The organizer draws the participants' attention to compliance with the rules of sporting integrity and sporting ethics, particularly in the fight against doping.

Penalty – disqualification:

Race marshals present on the course and the heads of post of the various control and supply points are authorized to enforce the rules and to immediately apply a penalty or disqualification in the event of non-compliance, according to the following text:

- disqualification for throwing rubbish (voluntary act) by a competitor or a member of his entourage

- disqualification in case of non-respect of persons (organizers or runners)

- disqualification in case of non-assistance to a person in difficulty

- disqualification for refusing to obey an order from the race director, a doctor or a first aider

- 10' penalty for bib not visible

- any other breach of the rules will be subject to a sanction decided by the race jury.

Modification, cancellation:

The organization reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event in the event of force majeure (bad weather, prefectural decision, etc.).

If the event were to be canceled in the event of force majeure or for a reason beyond the control of the organization, no reimbursement of the registration fees could be made and no compensation received. The organization also reserves the right to cancel the event for any financial or other reason jeopardizing its existence.

Amendment of the rules:

These rules may be modified at any time and without notice by the organizing team until the day of the race.

Any new version of the regulations will be posted on the event website.
